Grace Lily C. Padua hails from the small town of Abulug, Cagayan, Philippines. She started learning English upon entering the elementary grades through high school. After graduating at University of Cagayan formerly Cagayan Teacher's College, she began her teaching career at the age of 23. English was her major subject, the Second Language of the Filipinos. 

She continued her studies taking M. A. in Education at Arellano University, Manila, Philippines. Writing children's stories became her favorite past time after she moved to Canada. Lately she self-published her children's book "White and Yellow Chrysanthemum". Now she produced a documentary film "Freedom to a World War II Filipino Veteran" about the freedom handed to us from the sacrifices of veterans like his father, independence or self-governance and the love to family, country and the world.
